Who is responsible?
Make Business (makebusiness.eu) is operated by Blinkro Ltd, the data controller for information processed to operate this publication. For privacy questions and requests, email info@blinkro.com.
Information we use
- Website delivery and security: our hosting and technical services process IP addresses, requested pages, request times, browser information and diagnostic records to deliver the website, investigate errors and prevent abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, reliable publication.
- Your correspondence: if you contact us, we receive your email address, name if supplied, message and attachments. We use these to respond and manage relevant correspondence, based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, or steps at your request before a contract where applicable. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information unless necessary.
- Audience measurement: we use Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand visits, traffic sources, pages read and interactions. Depending on your choices, this may involve device or browser identifiers, approximate location, page URLs and interaction information. Analytics cookies rely on consent where required. Google Consent Mode may send limited measurements without analytics cookies when consent is denied, for aggregated measurement and modelling.
- Advertising: we use Google AdSense. Google and advertising partners may process IP addresses, browser and device information, identifiers, visited pages and ad interactions. Ads may be personalised or limited depending on your choices and applicable rules. The consent message lists partners, purposes and their stated legal bases. Optional advertising consent can be refused or managed by purpose.
Providing contact details is voluntary, but we may need a reply address to answer your enquiry. You do not need to agree to personalised advertising to read our articles.
Cookies and changing your choices
Cookies and similar storage may support essential functions and security, remember privacy choices, measure readership and deliver advertising. Optional purposes are presented in the consent interface where applicable. Cookie providers, purposes and storage periods vary by service and your choices.
Use the Privacy and cookie settings control on this website to review or withdraw consent. Choose Do not consent to refuse optional consent, or Manage options to review purposes and partners. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also block or delete cookies in your browser; deleting consent cookies may cause a new consent request. Essential security processing can continue when optional consent is refused.
Providers, advertising partners and transfers
Providers include Hostinger for hosting and infrastructure, Google for Analytics, AdSense and consent management, and email providers used for correspondence. Authorised administrators may access information where necessary. Advertising partners and their privacy notices are listed in the consent interface. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to establish or defend legal claims.
Read how Google uses information from partner websites, Google's Privacy Policy and cookie information. Google My Ad Center offers additional advertising controls.
Providers may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA or UK. Applicable transfer arrangements may include adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. Provider privacy information describes their international processing. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to our processing.
Retention
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to answer it, manage a resulting relationship, resolve disputes or meet applicable legal obligations. Technical records are retained according to security and troubleshooting needs and hosting settings. Analytics and advertising retention depends on service configuration, identifier lifetimes, consent choices and provider policies. Information is removed or anonymised when no longer required; aggregated statistics may be retained longer.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law and the processing basis, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your situation. You may withdraw consent at any time. Rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
Email info@blinkro.com with your request. We may need proportionate information to verify identity. We may be unable to link aggregated statistics or browser identifiers to a named person.
You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or the data protection authority where you live or work. In Lithuania, this is the State Data Protection Inspectorate.
